We currently have potential openings for NOAA graduate and undergraduate fellowships.

Those accepted into these positions can expect to work on projects using and developing cutting edge ocean robotics tools including with deep sea remotely operated vehicles, Liquid Robotic Wave Gliders, and near shore autonomous surface drones. Projects will focus on (1) the environmental controls of water quality and chemistry and their influence on aquatic ecosystem health and (2) autonomous observing technology of aquatic health parameters to support ecosystem health prediction and sustainable water resource management.

The NOAA graduate positions are open to individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, geology, biology, ecology, environmental science, computer science, or engineering or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and GRE scores of verbal 153 and quantitative 144 are required. This program is primarily directed towards supporting minority students.

The NOAA undergraduate positions are open to sophomore through senior undergraduates enrolled in chemistry, geology, biology, ecology, environmental science, computer science, or engineering or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This program is primarily directed towards supporting minority students.
